Analytical R&D Chemist

Responsibilities and Duties:

Design study protocols for evaluation of container closure systems, single use systems and medical devices.
Planning and scheduling analytical activities across multiple projects.
Ensure all laboratory data is generated and handled in accordance with GMP regulatory requirements.
Oversee analytical activities, interpretation of analytical data, problem-solving, and troubleshooting as required to ensure accurate and consistent results.
Evaluation of unknown compounds using mass spectroscopy methodologies, performing identification and semi-quantitation for risk assessment purposes.
Prepare high-quality, detailed scientific reports for submission to regulatory authorities and deliver by agreed deadlines within a defined scope of work.
Assists with analytical work duties or responsibilities as required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry
Capable of working with different analytical techniques, including but not limited to HPLC, LCMS, GCMS, and ICP-MS.
Excellent communication and technical writing skills
Work effectively across multiple teams
Familiarity with current GMP regulatory requirements and ICH guidelines
